Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team specializing in the review of technical specifications and contract details for metalwork. This role will focus on sales estimating and negotiating infrastructure projects across the Southeastern United States with a focus on miscellaneous metals and structural steel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and estimation efforts including generating leads and consulting with general contractors and customers on infrastructure municipal and industrial projects.
- Create detailed quotes and proposals based on thorough review of construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform material takeoffs and calculate costs for projects involving structural steel and miscellaneous metals including stairs railings ladders grating and access platforms.
- Negotiate project contracts with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and alignment with project scope.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong mathematical analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in project estimates.
