Join Stellar as we are building the first 360 degree trust platform and embedded insurance product for the shortterm rental industry.
Founded by serial entrepreneur and investor Philipp Reuter (CoFounder of STR management software Smoobu) and Milan Plogsties (ex Project Leader at BCG and MD at HomeToGo) we are solving one of the most pressing problems in the industry: building trust between guests and hosts. With over 1 billion nights booked in shortterm rentals in the EU alone the opportunity is huge and we have everything we need to succeed: financial backing from some of the most experienced founders & investors in travel tech and the shortterm rental industry a great team and a number of pilot customers.
We are about to launch our product and are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join us as an Entrepreneur in Residence Intern. If you are eager to experience what its like to build & launch a new venture love to work on a variety of different projects and are excited about the travel space this is the role for you.
Tasks
- Collaborate with the founding team to drive strategic initiatives from product development to market entry.
- Conduct indepth market research to identify trends opportunities and competitive dynamics in the shortterm rental and embedded insurance markets.
- Assist in the developing & refining product features and gotomarket strategies.
- Help build relationships with key stakeholders including pilot customers investors and industry partners.
- Support the creation of pitch decks financial models and investor materials
- Assist with various projects to help ensure smooth operations & project execution
Requirements
- You are currently studying or have recently graduated in business economics finance computer science or a similar field
- You have worked in a fastpaced environment such as startup VC or consulting
- You are fluent in English knowledge of German is a big plus
- You are a strong independent thinker who is not afraid to share your opinions and ideas.
- You have the ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with shifting priorities
