Job Description
We are hiring an Election Worker for one of our clients in Maricopa AZ.
Job Description:
- The tasks listed are a representation and not an allinclusive list of essential job tasks for the following positions.
- Works in teams of two with a partner of a different political party
- Opens verifies counts and stacks ballots for delivery to the Ballot Tabulation Center
- Pays attention to detail when opening envelopes to identify discrepancies with the envelope and/or ballot and document information about each batch for auditing purposes
- Follows precise and specific instructions for a dedicated stepbystep workflow
- Assists other divisions with election activities
Working Conditions:
- Fulltime/Temporary/Overtime hours are mandatory during the election cycle
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Upper extremity repetitive motion
- Ability to review small font on hard copy or computer screen
- Ability to lift floortoshoulder and shouldertowaist a minimum of 25 pounds and carry for 100 feet
- Ability to push/pull a minimum of 25 pounds for 200 feet
Education required:
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a registered voter or have the ability to become a registered voter in the State of Arizona
- Must pass an applicable background screening
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends
- A valid Arizona Drivers License
Work hours:
- Overtime and weekend work is required
