As an Associate Creative Director (ACD), you will play a pivotal role in driving the creative vision and execution for two to three key accounts, tailored to the size and needs of each. This hybrid position necessitates three days in the office weekly, fostering collaboration and hands-on leadership. Your Impact
Creative/Hands-on Work (40%)
In this dynamic role, you will help shape and refine creative briefs, ensuring they provide strategic insights and ignite inspiration. Collaborating closely with the ACD and Copy team, you will produce standout, strategically focused concepts and campaigns that resonate with clients. You’ll take ownership of various projects, managing them independently from inception to completion, while adeptly navigating tight deadlines and juggling multiple assignments. Your responsibilities will include estimating art hours, participating in client meetings, leading concept presentations, attending market research, and collaborating with planning teams to influence strategic branding.
Management (30%)
As a manager, you will strategically assign creative teams based on their skills and workloads, optimizing productivity across the art team to ensure everyone remains engaged and billable. You will liaise with editorial, project management, and art departments to meet deadlines and stay within budgetary constraints. Your role includes providing constructive feedback for annual performance reviews and ongoing development, as well as identifying and interviewing potential creative candidates to enrich our talent pool.
Leadership (30%)
In your leadership capacity, you will become the creative voice for your accounts, building strong relationships with clients and understanding their marketing challenges. You will work in tandem with account management to foster growth within existing client relationships. Collaborating with creative management, you will address performance, workflow, and quality issues while devising long-term plans for the creative group. You’ll lead teams in the development and execution of innovative concepts across all projects, ensuring that every designer and creative is well-trained and mentored to uphold the agency’s standards and their own career aspirations.
By demonstrating a deep understanding of client products and marketing challenges, you will showcase your responsiveness to their strategic and creative needs. Furthermore, you will represent the agency at client meetings and social events, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and partnership.
