Position : OpenShift Engineer
Location : Denver CO
Description:
Lead Individual Contributor responsible for designing implementing researching planning administering securing and monitoring operating systems and container environments related to supporting and improving Client wireless engineering lab. Works with cross functional teams and advises leadership. Provides technology leadership and drives the Wireless Lab technology roadmap with stakeholders and partners.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read write and speak the English language to communicate with managers employees customers vendors in person on the phone and by written communications in a clear straightforward and professional manner
Advanced Knowledge of related industry specifications standards technologies and protocols
Advanced Knowledge in network design network architecture protocols and network topology
Advanced Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
Advanced Knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Advanced Knowledge of network devices and network appliances
Advanced knowledge of computer servers and various operating systems (e.g. Linux Windows)
Advanced knowledge of Containers and Orchestration systems (e.g. Docker Rancher OpenShift)
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Windows operating systems
Knowledge in securing Microsoft Windows operating systems
Advanced knowledge of Virtualization and Hypervisors
Advanced knowledge of productivity software such as Visio PowerPoint Word and Excel
Ability to perform duties in a fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
