Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Trading with a strong background in DeFi to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop and implement sophisticated trading strategies to optimize returns while managing risk.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies for DeFi markets
- Analyze market trends, liquidity, and volatility across multiple DeFi protocols
- Optimize yield farming strategies and liquidity provision across decentralized exchanges
- Conduct research on new DeFi protocols and assess their potential for integration into our strategies
- Collaborate with the development team to implement and automate trading algorithms
- Monitor and manage risk exposure across various DeFi positions
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to the management team
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in quantitative trading, preferably with exposure to cryptocurrency markets
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, or Solidity
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with on-chain data analysis and blockchain analytics tools
- Knowledge of advanced DeFi concepts such as flash loans, MEV, and cross-chain bridges
- Familiarity with decentralized options and derivatives protocols
- Experience with machine learning and its applications in trading
Compensation & Package
Base plus significant profit sharing that could take total compensation to $500K or more.
