Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and fabricated materials ensuring adherence to drawings and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for all pressure part components and oversee quality control inspections.
  • Ensure proper calibration of measuring devices and instruments for reliable inspections.
  • Oversee the manufacturing of ASME coderequired pressure vessels and manage documentation.
  • Verify welder performance qualifications and ensure alignment with WPS/PQR documentation.
  • Coordinate external inspections with authorized ASME inspectors and other agencies.
  • Perform inprocess and final inspections including hydro and pneumatic tests.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BE/DME in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with ASME codes specifically Section 8 Division 1/2. CSWIP 3.2.
  • Knowledge of painting and coating processes.
  • Proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • 5 years as a QC Inspector in pressure vessel construction piping or structural welding.
  • Fabrication and machining experience.

Experience:

  • 710 years of handson experience in a similar role preferably with PV550 equipment.
