Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and fabricated materials ensuring adherence to drawings and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records for all pressure part components and oversee quality control inspections.
- Ensure proper calibration of measuring devices and instruments for reliable inspections.
- Oversee the manufacturing of ASME coderequired pressure vessels and manage documentation.
- Verify welder performance qualifications and ensure alignment with WPS/PQR documentation.
- Coordinate external inspections with authorized ASME inspectors and other agencies.
- Perform inprocess and final inspections including hydro and pneumatic tests.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum BE/DME in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with ASME codes specifically Section 8 Division 1/2. CSWIP 3.2.
- Knowledge of painting and coating processes.
- Proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- 5 years as a QC Inspector in pressure vessel construction piping or structural welding.
- Fabrication and machining experience.
Experience:
- 710 years of handson experience in a similar role preferably with PV550 equipment.
