About the role
Give Discover was launched in 2022 with the aim to bridge the information gap in the development sector. We now aim to drive the platform growth to bring more users both donors and NGOs to use it at scale for grantmaking decisions.
We are looking for a marketing lead who can take end to end ownership of developing a growth strategy ads social media content SEO PR and executing it while working collaboratively with other internal and external teams.
You will be responsible for
Marketing strategy and planning
Build and execute a marketing strategy to create awareness for Give Discover within the CSR community
Position Give Discover as a development sector thought leader
Own marketing outcomes not just activities
Growth marketing
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth and revenue influence including content video events digital channels (emails website Linkedin)
Effectively use and analyze data leads data platform users GA for growing the platform
Drive PR coverage and media partnerships for Give Discover using PR agencies as needed
Own content creation for Give Discover creatives social media emails blogs etc.
Own the Give Discover website and drive relevant traffic
Partner with existing CSR focused events and over time create and manage owned B2B events
Work with crossfunctional teams Product due diligence etc. to drive platform growth
This is a high visibility handson role in a startup environment. You will be responsible for building a B2B social impact brand from scratch. The list given above is indicative at best and the role will need innovative thinking and hustle beyond doing the obvious.
You will be successful if you come with
4years of overall experience with 2 years in a growth marketing role
Prior experience and a strong conceptual understanding of B2B marketing is essential
Excelling with data analysis and the ability to drive effective decision making through data
Ability to write longform and shortform copy and work with content creators as needed
A strong design aesthetic and high comfort in working with designers
A genuine interest in the social development sector Prior experience in the sector is relevant but not mandatory.
High comfort with using marketing automation tools and generative AI tools where relevant.
Ability to bring creative outofthebox thinking to the table
Handson approach to execution the roll up your sleeves & get hands dirty kinds
Desire to work in a fastpaced startup environment
