Job Description
We are recruiting Product Manager Voice & Messaging for our client based in France.
The "Product Development" team includes 9 Product Managers covering the entire spectrum of products of a telecom operator dedicated to connectivity solutions for the IoT and the MVNO market. Our business is growing strongly driven by major contracts being delivered or to be delivered by 2025 mainly in the automotive and transport sectors. The team therefore needs a new Product Manager to deal with the number of subjects to be dealt with in particular on this scope and therefore perfect our platform make it more competitive efficient and richer in features capable of making the difference to win new business.
As a Voice & Messaging Product Manager you are responsible for defining the products that will be the next major functional developments of Transatels MVNO and IoT offers. These features will be rolled out across the companys various offers and markets.
As part of your mission in tandem with another Telecom Product Manager you will take on the following challenges in particular:
- Opportunities around the launch of VoLTE & VoWifi services as additional services to standard call services. You will then contribute to the choice of technologies and the construction of the business model; to the definition of our offer and the supervision of the solution implementation project.
- The management of emergency call technologies (related to the connected vehicle use case) and the developments in technological standards
- The opportunities and challenges around new generation messaging such as RCS
- The management of developments in offers related to our current services (Voice SMS MMS).
More specifically you will have to:
- Collect customer needs and market analysis
- Define the content and priorities of the products as well as the associated customer journeys
- Solicit select and manage technological partners
- Define the pricing positioning ambitions and the Business Plan
- Coordinate the internal feasibility study and the costing of the solution
- Coordinate the implementation of the service (in the MoA sense)
- Build the commercial support documentation for the products
- Support the sales forces and market managers for the launch on the market
- Support the deployments of earlyadopter customers
- Manage the roadmap of the offer
Requirements
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelors in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with an operator or a solution/service provider.
- Product marketing and/or Technical experience on fixedmobile convergence Unified Communications IMS VoLTE VoWIFI RCS etc. that allow you to have convictions and market visions to define and prioritize new products.
- Knowledge of market vendor offerings is a plus (Cisco/Broadsoft Oracle etc.)
- Enterprising dynamic determined autonomous.
- Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
- Fluent French and English is essential; a third language would be a plus
