Job Description
Growing Manufacturer in Lansdowne PA seeks a Business Applications Manager will focus on manufacturing applications ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) management. This is primarily remote but will require periodic visit to the companys corporate offices in Lansdowne PA.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central project management EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Data Warehousing and a business intelligence tool to streamline our operations and drive business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize the utilization of ERP WMS & CRM systems
- Ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes within the ERP framework
- Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP platforms to enhance system capabilities
- Provide support for system configurations customization and user training
- Lead and support IT projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement new solutions or enhancements
- Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to facilitate efficient data exchange with external partners
- Design develop and maintain data warehouse(s) to support analytics and reporting requirements
- Leverage PowerBI and/or other business intelligence tools to create insightful dashboards and reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- Experience managing supporting developing and/or analyzing ERP or related applications
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
- Working knowledge of BarTender or similar label design software
- Experience working with Scan Guns Tablets label printers and other equipment in support of manufacturing operations
- Deep understanding of Core Business Processes: Lead to Quote Order to Cash Procure to Pay
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Capable of critical thinking for unique and unusual situations
