What you will be doing:
- Develop client relationships account management strategies and innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Process Systems and Solutions for target accounts in our Michigan Indiana Southwestern Ohio and Eastern/Central Kentucky territory
- The primary objective of this position is to meet or exceed sales and business objectives within assigned accounts and territory by providing process automation solutions to our customers.
- Understand the customers business objectives and tie solutions and deliverables to those business objectives.
- Manage current and potential customer queries and develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Expand and develop critical relationships at appropriate decisionmaking and influencing levels within the account.
- Establish efficient communication channels with customers and their internal departments.
- Utilize a customeroriented approach and sales expertise resulting in aggressive growth and profitability for the business.
- Develop and execute formal account plans for vital installedbase accounts.
- Pursue capital projects expansions and upgrades and apply strategic selling principles to win the business successfully.
- Provide leadership to and effectively manage inside sales and engineering support resources throughout the pursuit to ensure success.
- Leverage sales experience in a related industry or adjacent space to generate new business leads.
- Identify accounts for competitive penetration and develop and execute account plans for competitive penetration accounts.
- Successfully develop critical relationships at appropriate decisionmaking and influencing levels within the competitive account.
- Identify and develop a differentiated vision and apply strategic selling principles to win the business successfully.
Experience you will need:
- A bachelors degree in engineering is preferred; however business management marketing a related field or plant management experience are acceptable.
- A minimum of 45 years experience as a sales account manager in automation solutions.
- Indepth knowledge of client relationship management strategies.
- Superb interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Previous success in winning new business at competitively held accounts is a must.
