Job Description
Reporting to the Boutique / Coffee shop supervisor responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service.
- Be active in the boutique providing recommendation to guests
- Handles end to end customers orders;
- Sells and prepares coffee drinks and beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee and/or drinks such as expresso cappuccino latte brewed tea cold brews etc.;
- Answer customers questions presents and explains the various beverage offerings;
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies baked goods
- Keeps equipment operating by following instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to the health and safety guidelines;
- Improves quality results by studying evaluating and/or proposing redesigned processes and implementing changes;
- Maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar;
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee retail trade and food service publications;
- Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
- Experienced and comfortable working under pressure during busy shifts.
- Strong verbal communications and relationship building skills.
- Friendly outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer experience.
- Tidy selfdisciplined and detailedoriented.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Follow all sustainability standards and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Parttime
- 5 to 8 hour shifts
- Hours of operations 6 am to 7 pm.
Qualifications :
- Excellent interpersonal and English/French communication skills.
- Must possess a professional presentation.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Retail and Food and beverage experience will be considered an asset.
- High school diploma/equivalent required.
