As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as a vital bridge between cutting-edge technology and business needs, specifically focusing on the Enterprise AI Sales team. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying customer challenges, showcasing the technical advantages of our GPU as a Service (GPUaaS) platform, and supporting the sales cycle to facilitate successful deployments of AI solutions.
Responsibilities
Your collaboration with Enterprise AI Sales representatives will be crucial in identifying and qualifying leads that possess substantial AI workloads. You will play a key role in enhancing client understanding of the GPUaaS solution through technical presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and the development of proof-of-concept (POC) projects. This requires you to translate customer requirements into precise technical specifications for GPU configurations and compute resources tailored to our platform.
In partnership with the sales team, you will craft compelling proposals that effectively illustrate the cost-effectiveness and scalability of our solutions when compared to traditional approaches. Working alongside pre-sales engineers, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing POC environments, thereby showcasing the performance and efficiency of our platform.
Your ongoing technical support for the sales team throughout the sales cycle will be critical. You will address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring that all stakeholders feel informed and confident in their decisions. To excel in this role, staying updated on the latest advancements in AI, GPU technology, and evolving platform features is essential. This knowledge will enable you to offer insights and solutions that resonate with our clients’ needs.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales role, ideally within the AI or high-performance computing (HPC) sectors. A strong understanding of GPU architectures, their capabilities, and their role in accelerating AI workloads is essential, particularly with respect to GPUs like the A100s and H100s. Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, will be advantageous.
In addition to technical expertise, excellent communication and presentation skills are crucial. You must be adept at simplifying complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience, ensuring clarity and engagement. Your ability to articulate the benefits of our GPUaaS solutions will be instrumental in driving successful sales and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
