As a Lead Engineer, you will spearhead a talented team of engineers dedicated to crafting exceptional and innovative technical solutions for our diverse range of clients. Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or have equivalent experience in the field. A minimum of 10 years of game development experience is essential, with at least 3 years spent in a similar leadership role. Experience in shipping AAA games on current-generation consoles, such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as PC platforms using Unreal Engine 4 or 5, is highly preferred.
Strong skills in C/C++, performance analysis, optimization, and debugging are critical for this position. You should have a deep understanding of PC and console architecture, including memory systems and cross-platform development best practices. This technical expertise will enable you to guide your team effectively and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
Furthermore, advanced verbal and written communication skills are vital, as you will be interacting with a diverse audience that includes artists, engineers, and management. The ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively is essential for ensuring collaboration and understanding across all stakeholders.
