Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SAP US Payroll Functional Consultant with strong communication skills and experience in direct client interactions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in US payroll processes and configurations including the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure US payroll and tax processes.
- Perform BSI Tax Factory configuration and maintenance including tax update bulletin application and testing.
- Configure and manage garnishments.
- Oversee benefits configuration and integration with payroll systems.
- Facilitate payroll posting to finance departments.
- Demonstrate indepth knowledge of payroll schemas and rules.
- Configure direct deposit and check processing systems.
- Implement and test HR service packs.
- Set up wage types including payment models and taxability configurations.
- Lead at least one full lifecycle US Payroll implementation from start to finish.
- Integrate and interface with thirdparty vendors within SAP.
- Provide production support activities conducting root cause analysis and resolution for configuration development data and processrelated issues.
- Implement and support both positive and negative time management functionalities.
- Manage time evaluation including schema updates.
- Conduct yearend testing and apply legal notes ensuring compliance.
- Configure and test remuneration statements.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in US payroll and tax regulations.
- Strong understanding of BSI Tax Factory and garnishment processing.
- Proficient in SAP Payroll configurations including schemas and rules.
- Experience with benefits configuration and payroll integration.
- Knowledge of time management and time evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with wage type setup payment models and taxability.
- Ability to interface with thirdparty vendors in SAP.
- Strong problemsolving skills and experience in production support.
- Excellent communication and clientfacing skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
