Key Responsibilities for a Service Technician
Installation and Maintenance: Perform expert installation maintenance and repair of home security systems home automation technologies and residential AV equipment to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and system performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently ensuring minimal disruption to customers daily lives.
Customer Engagement: Interact proactively with customers offering guidance and support throughout service engagements to enhance their experience and understanding of our products.
Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all services performed installations completed and customer interactions utilizing internal systems for tracking and reporting.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in home security automation and AV technology to deliver effective service and advice.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in installing and maintaining home security systems automation components and AV equipment
- Strong technical and problemsolving skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with security protocols automation systems and AV technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in related fields are a plus
