Job Description
Surgical Technologists are responsible for assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing scrub duties. Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases. Assists in preparation transportation and supervision of patients. Maintains education in surgical operating room and related aspects of patient care.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : For Call Only
On Call Requirements : 56 Call Shifts Per Month
Requirement description :
- 1 Years of Experience Required
- Must have completed 2 travel assignments Required
- BLS (AHA) Required
- Must be proficient in Ortho specifically total joints hip fx arthroscopy ORIFs and shoulder scopes and replacements
- Vascular proficiency Required
- Neuro proficiency Required
- Cannot accept December RTO****
- Work history
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50 mile radius restriction)
