Title: Signal Processing Engineer with Machine Larning
Location: Onsite in (Philadelphia 1800 Arch St PA)
Duration: 12 months Contract
Job description:
- Responsible for developing speech enhancements algorithms for use in multimicrophone farfield applications such as a voice assistant. Experience with acoustic spatial signal processing is desired including techniques such as acoustic beamforming source localization blind source separation and noise reduction. Deep machine learning experience is a plus.
- This position typically requires a masters degree in electrical engineering and more than 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Technical creativity is required. The ability to study existing techniques and subsequently enhance and adapt these techniques to meet the needs and constraints of our products is critical.
- The candidate will be involved in the process of reducing an algorithm to practice in software for use in a realtime application. The candidate will also be involved in testing algorithms and comparing test results.

Development of Sky Glass TV featuring:
- 6 speakers
- 3 microphones
Key Responsibilities:
- Voice Signal Processing:
- Eliminate TV audio interference from voice signals.
- Microphone Development:
- Design mics that adapt to algorithms in realtime.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Core Skills:
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Technical Proficiencies:
- MATLAB Daily use for DSP development
- Python For ML algorithms and development
- C Programming Essential for embedded signal processor software
- Noise Reduction Techniques Practical experience required
Preferred Background:
- Educational & Career Background:
- Strong background in Electronic Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Experience:
- 8 years of relevant experience (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Communication:
- Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
