As a Data Visualization SME an individual is responsible for designing and developing Dashboards according to application requirements and demands of the business.
Responsible for the development and administration.
Their main duty is to transform raw data into meaningful insights. This is accomplished through interactive and userfriendly dashboards and reports.
The role of an SME is vital for businesses because of the executive strategic and managerial roles and responsibilities that come with it.
Professionals are expected to perform a wide range of tasks such as reporting building dashboards building data models analyzing datasets and administration.
Needs to be quality and customer focused when approaching a new product. He / She needs welldeveloped reporting and design research skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Overall 810 years or relevant experience
Designing dashboards with the use of visualization tools using Tableau Power BI
Using SQL for managing large volume of data
Communicating with customers to analyze historical data and identify KPIs
Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations
Tweaking SQL Queries for best performance
Making sure the team delivers reports as per the requirements
Analyzing the data so as to identify trends and share insights
Innovating and implementing mobile dashboards with the help of native features
Recognizing areas for automation
Restricting data for particular users with the help of User filters / Persona experiences
Producing support documentation and keep existing documentation up to date
Carrying out investigation of root cause analysis
Must Have Skills
Setting Bestinclass visualization and usability standards for Business Dashboards Reports through BI Reporting
Tools (ex: Tableau Power BI Qlik MicroStrategy)
