The role:
As our Account Manager youll be the primary contact for 5080 clients mainly freight forwarders in the logistics industry across the fastgrowing APAC region. Your role is to help clients thrive on our container marketplace by facilitating transactions and building strong relationships.
Youll connect with clients regularly focusing on their goals and ensuring they fully utilize our platforms features. A big part of your job will be developing localized approaches tailored to the unique needs of each market. Youll also influence market expansion collaborate with global teams. Your ultimate goal is to drive both client retention and revenue growth.
Location:
This role can be based in Hamburg or remotely in China and Taiwan.
Requirements
Your Impact:
- Grow Revenue & Retain Clients: You will drive net revenue growth through upselling contract renewals and reducing churn. This involves fostering strong client relationships understanding their longterm business objectives and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
- Enhance Product Adoption: You will engage clients to ensure they effectively use our platform features embedding xChange into their daily operations to make it an integral part of their business.
- Expand Your Customer Portfolio: You will identify upselling and crossselling opportunities within existing accounts. You will also develop a sustainable portfolio and share strategies that enhance ROI and engagement.
- Deliver a Great Onboarding Experience: You will facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new clients in their first 60 days delivering training and ongoing followups to make customers successful as fast as possible. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure your accounts are wellsupported.
- Support your clients: You are the goto person for your clients ensuring your clients are supported ultimately aiming for a smooth experience and as selfsufficient clients as possible.
What makes you the PERFECT match
- You bring 12 years of professional sales and/or account management experience managing large SMB portfolios ideally within a Marketplaces SaaS or logistics (container leasing and trading) environment.
- You have expertise in developing and nurturing professional B2B relationships with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
- You are a true hunter at heart enthusiastic about making daily calls actively seeking opportunities and relentlessly pursuing new business.
- You bring a proactive highenergy approach ready to tackle challenges and drive rapid growth.
- You are fluent in English and Mandarin with excellent client communication skills.
