Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer(US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design system architectures that meet business requirements ensuring scalability security and performance.
- Oversee the installation configuration and integration of hardware and software components across systems.
- Monitor system performance analyze data and optimize system configurations for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues providing timely support to ensure minimal downtime and disruption.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations procedures and policies to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers network engineers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect systems from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies recommending improvements and upgrades to enhance system capabilities.
- Provide training and support to endusers to promote effective use of systems and applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role with a strong understanding of system architecture and design.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows Linux UNIX) and server management.
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV).
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts protocols and security practices.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a detailoriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Cisco Microsoft) are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
