Job Description
In this role you work as an estimating Fireproofing Engineer doing the fireproofing materials with all accessories and estimate the jobs per company extension and software. This will be an opportunity to work with a leading contractor in the Chicago IL USA area. Candidates should expect to be fully integrated with the US company working with their team on a daily basis.
Candidates for this position are expected to work in office at our location in Cairo Egypt.
Working hours will be from 4PM1AM Egypt time as the candidate will be working directly with the US company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform takeoffs for fireproofing on steel structure estimates.
- Utilize company extensions and relevant software for accurate estimates.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- 24 years of experience in takeoff and estimating for steel structures or fireproofing.
- Strong understanding of steel structures and architectural plans including sections and details.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Proficiency in Excel (creating worksheets with formulas).
- Experience with takeoff software is a plus.
