Job Description
- Minimum 56 years of experience in switchgears
- Kahramaa approved
- Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical Electronics/Telecommunication).
- Design and develop switchgear systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to optimize switchgear designs for efficiency and reliability under various load conditions.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of switchgear equipment ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on switchgear systems identifying potential issues and implementing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate switchgear solutions into larger electrical systems enhancing overall functionality.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications test reports and operation manuals for future reference.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and field personnel on switchgear operation and maintenance best practices.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in switchgear systems to enhance performance and innovation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards associated with switchgear operations.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source highquality materials and components for switchgear production.
- Design and specify switchgear systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct detailed electrical load calculations to determine the appropriate switchgear ratings for various applications.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of switchgear equipment ensuring all systems are operational and meet safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate switchgear solutions seamlessly into larger electrical systems.
- Perform routine testing and maintenance on switchgear to guarantee reliability and performance identifying issues before they escalate.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including operation manuals installation guides and maintenance schedules.
