Job Description
Job Summary: Deliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests communicating clearly and honestly and bringing a positive attitude. Provide exemplary cosmetic care for pets being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animals. Protect the best interests of our customers and their pets notifying owners of any concerns including skin abnormalities ear infections ticks and fleas.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Manage appointments.
- Clean and freshen pet hair by washing shampooing and conditioning it.
- Shave trim and style pet hair according to the owners preferences.
- Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails brushing teeth and cleaning ears.
- Maintain a clean workstation by sanitizing and sweeping.
- Advise owners on athome care tips and best practices for their pets.
- Conducting yourself in a manner that is in the best interest of clients and PUPS team members by representing PUPS in a professional and positive manner.
Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong dog grooming skills and prior experience preferred.
- Professional certification preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- A love for dogs.
- Patient and enthusiastic.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Kneel bend or twist their body.
- Must be able to safely lift dogs of up to 50 pounds at times.

Brady started at PUPS Pet Club as a dog Daycare Attendant he then became a Member Services Representative went to Dog Walking and then went through our Groomer apprenticeship program to become a Dog Groomer. Brady exemplifies the opportunities for growth at PUPS Pet Club.
Bryan:
Bryan is one of our top Groomers at PUPS Pet Club. He started his journey at PUPS as a groomer four years ago and now is an instructor in our apprenticeship program. He has taken on a mentorship role and helps new groomers acclimate and succeed.
Kaytlyn:
Kaytlyn has been working at PUPS Pet Club as a Dog Groomer for a little over a year. She values been seen and heard as an expert in her field and transitioned to PUPS for those reasons. She loves the endless opportunities for financial stability growth and creating a dedicated base of Dog and their Pet Parents!
