Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle family law cases including but not limited to divorce child custody alimony and asset division
- Assist in other practice areas such as litigation probate administration will contests intellectual property and appeals as needed
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft clear persuasive documents including briefs motions and memoranda
- Collaborate with team members to ensure highquality client service and contribute to our firm s professional growth
- Participate actively in firm social events and initiatives supporting our positive and collaborative culture
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership in Michigan
- 2 5 years experience in family law; additional experience in related practice areas is a plus
- Exceptional legal research writing and communication skills
- Ability to handle responsibilities of varying sizes and complexities with a proactive teamoriented approach
- A positive work ethic intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
