We are excited to announce an opening for a Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Squirro’s clients and engage with our internal product and engineering teams to implement SaaS solutions that generate significant ROI for our enterprise clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist, you will oversee client projects from the pre-sales phase through onboarding, deployment, and training. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Lead client engagements, ensuring smooth transitions from initial discussions to successful solution implementation.
- Expertise in Taxonomy and Ontology: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide in-depth expertise in taxonomy, ontology, and classification. Your role will ensure that the solutions we provide align with user requirements and meet overarching business goals.
- Product and Project Management: This position demands a unique blend of product management, project management, and semantic graph expertise. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their journey while promoting the benefits of our solutions.
- Product Evangelism: Act as a champion for our products, contributing to online content and participating in in-person events to share insights and promote our offerings.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect and prioritize client requirements effectively, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the product development roadmap.

Skills and Experience:

- Project Management: Strong capabilities in managing projects, ensuring timelines are met, and client expectations are exceeded.
- Client-Facing Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients.
- Communication and Presentation: Proficient in articulating complex concepts clearly, both in writing and during presentations.
- Taxonomy and Ontology Development: Practical experience in developing taxonomies and ontologies that support business objectives.
- Classification Management: Experience in managing human and/or machine classification processes.
- Controlled Vocabulary Knowledge: In-depth understanding of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices, including ANSI-NISO Z39.19 and ISO 25964.
- Semantic Web Standards: Extensive knowledge of semantic web standards such as RDF, SKOS, OWL, and SPARQL.
- Familiarity with LLMs and RAG: Awareness of Large Language Models and Retrieval Augmented Generation, integrating these technologies into your solutions.
