Job Description
Position: Asst. Manager Mechanical Sourcing
Organization: Cyient DLM Ltd ()
Work Location: Electronic City Bangalore
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Tooling with 8 10 Years Experience
- Experience in Mechanical Component Development / Sourcing / Vendor Identification & Development.
- Exposure in Sheet Metal / Machining / Stamping parts commodities and its costing.
- Cost Negotiation skill / Price finalization with suppliers. Expertise in component cost reduction through Value Analysis & Value Engineering.
- Experience in Tooling and Mold development and its costing.
- Vendor developments for Special Process.
- Strong team player coordinate with Supplier/internal customer/Customer for development activities.
- Knowledge on international standards ISO / AS for Supply Chain& Sourcing activities.
- Knowledge on Purchasing process. Follow up with suppliers and ensure on time availability of parts for production.
- Excellent communication skills / supplier management skill /Leadership skill.
