General Requirements:
Fluent in English or Afrikaans Essential.
JobRelated work experience:
Previous experience in a role supporting neurodivergent children Essential.
Previous experience working with younger children under the age of 10 years old Essential.
Previous experience in teaching/tutoring Preferred.
JobRelated Knowledge:
Familiarity with low arousal childled neuroaffirming approach Essential.
Familiarity and knowledge of sensory processing difficulties Essential.
Familiarity and knowledge of DIR Floortime Desirable.
JobRelated Skills:
Capable of planning and implementing fun engaging and creative activities with her using a flexible approach tailored to her interests and sensory needs Essential.
Ability to minimise stress and anxiety for her by utilising a low arousal approach Essential.
Strong verbal communication skills with children and parents Essential.
