Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Accountant to join their team. In this individual contributor role you ll be responsible for managing daytoday accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You ll collaborate closely with the Accounting Service Manager and thirdparty accounting teams to maintain financial health optimize processes and support their growing business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced handson environment and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic startup.

Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Possession of two or more accounting certifications is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 45 years of accounting experience preferably in a startup or small business environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial ERP systems is a plus.
Audit Experience: Experience in auditbased work is a big plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and tax regulations. A solid understanding of US GAAP is a plus.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting reconciliations and analysis.
ProblemSolving: Proactive in identifying potential issues and providing solutions before they escalate.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
