Our client a respected organization in the secondary education space located in Downingtown PA (the greater Philadelphia area) is seeking an associatelevel human resources (HR) specialist with a commitment to precision and clientcentric service. About the Role
As the human resources specialist you will support critical functions within recruitment onboarding HR systems and benefits ensuring that every step is efficient and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. This is a dynamic position wellsuited for HR professionals who thrive in fastpaced environments and are skilled in managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Coordination: Oversee the recruitment process for a variety of positions (exempt nonexempt student and temporary staff) including job postings resume reviews interviews reference checks and offer negotiations.
- Onboarding Support: Guide new hires through benefits policies and employment agreements ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- HR System Management: Support HR system upgrades and improvements including testing and troubleshooting within the HRMS platform.
- Leave and Benefits Administration: Assist employees in navigating leave policies benefit options and eligibility requirements.
- Employee Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and provide data for internal reports.
- Education Benefits & Workers Compensation: Coordinate tuition reimbursement salary adjustments and workers compensation processes ensuring clarity and compliance.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Minimum two years in HR with a focus on recruitment onboarding and HR system management.
- Education: Bachelors degree in HR business administration or related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in HRMS and HRIS platforms proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Communication: Exceptional client service and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $51000 $70000 annually based on experience.
