We are looking for a dedicated Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist to join our dynamic team at Squirro. This role is pivotal as you will collaborate with both our enterprise clients and internal product and engineering teams to implement SaaS solutions that drive significant ROI for our clients. Your expertise will help enhance user experiences and meet diverse business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist, you will oversee client engagements from initial pre-sales discussions through to onboarding, deployment, and training. Your project management skills will be critical in ensuring that every client interaction is seamless and productive. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, providing expert guidance in taxonomy, ontology, and classification. This expertise will ensure that the solutions we deliver are not only technically sound but also aligned with user requirements and business goals.
In addition to project management, you will act as a product evangelist. This involves creating engaging content for online platforms and participating in in-person events to promote our solutions. You will gather and prioritize client requirements, offering valuable insights that will inform our product development roadmap. Your ability to think creatively and strategically will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings.
Skills and Experience:
To excel in this role, you must possess strong project management capabilities, enabling you to juggle multiple client engagements efficiently. Your client-facing skills should be exceptional, as you will regularly communicate with clients to build strong relationships and understand their needs. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, allowing you to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Practical experience in developing taxonomies and ontologies is crucial, as is experience in managing human and/or machine classification processes. You should have a deep understanding of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices, including ANSI-NISO Z39.19 and ISO 25964. Additionally, familiarity with semantic web standards such as RDF, SKOS, OWL, and SPARQL is required.
An understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) will be beneficial, as these technologies increasingly play a role in semantic graph solutions. Familiarity with graph databases, particularly RDF graph databases, is also essential, as this knowledge will enhance your ability to implement effective solutions for our clients.
