We are excited to announce an opening for a Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist at Squirro. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with our clients and internal product and engineering teams to implement Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions that generate significant return on investment (ROI) for enterprise clients. Your expertise in semantic graphs, project management, and taxonomy development will be pivotal in driving our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Semantic Graph Solutions Specialist, you will take the lead in project managing client engagements from the initial pre-sales phase through to onboarding, deployment, and training. This involves understanding client needs and ensuring that our solutions align with their business objectives. You will work directly with clients, providing them with expert guidance on taxonomy, ontology, and classification to optimize their experience with our products.
Your role will require a unique blend of product and project management skills alongside a solid foundation in semantic graph expertise. You will act as a product evangelist, contributing to online content, attending industry events, and representing Squirro’s solutions in various forums to promote our offerings.
Another critical aspect of your role will involve gathering and prioritizing client requirements. You will actively engage with clients to identify their needs and translate those into actionable insights that inform our product development roadmap. Your fresh ideas will help shape the future of our solutions, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Skills and Experience:
To thrive in this position, you will need strong project management skills, allowing you to juggle multiple client engagements effectively. Your client-facing skills will be essential in building and maintaining relationships, while your communication and presentation abilities will enable you to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Practical experience in developing taxonomies and ontologies is a must, as well as managing both human and machine classification processes. You should have a deep understanding of controlled vocabulary standards and best practices, including ANSI-NISO Z39.19 and ISO 25964.
Moreover, familiarity with semantic web standards, such as RDF, SKOS, OWL, and SPARQL, is crucial for ensuring that our solutions meet the technical requirements of our clients. Additionally, a basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) will be advantageous, as will experience with graph databases, particularly RDF graph databases.
If you are a motivated professional with a passion for semantic technologies and a desire to help clients succeed, we would love to hear from you. Join us at Squirro and be a part of our mission to empower enterprises with cutting-edge SaaS solutions!
