Job Description
Our client a leading provider of heavy machinery and equipment specializes in forestry and earthmoving solutions. They offer toptier products and services for rentals and customerowned machinery. They are currently seeking a Field Mechanic to join their team. This role focuses on diagnosing repairing inspecting and maintaining various types of heavy machinery with a strong emphasis on cranes excavators and forestry equipment. The mechanic will primarily service rental and customerowned equipment ensuring high performance and safety standards in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose inspect repair and maintain heavy machinery and equipment including cranes excavators and forestry machinery.
- Service rental and customerowned equipment.
- Perform electrical hydraulic engine and drive train system repairs.
- Use computercontrolled systems for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Maintain clear professional communication with customers supervisors and vendors.
- Travel to job sites and company locations using a company vehicle.
- Be on call for urgent service needs.
- Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in electrical hydraulic and computercontrolled systems for heavy machinery.
- Expertise in drive trains and engines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and vendors.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various locations.
- Ability to work oncall shifts.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Technicians from all certification levels are encouraged to apply.
