Job Description

Position: Quality Improvement and Compliance Administrator

Start Date: 1/6/2025

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Dallas TX 75235

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days

Shift Notes: 9a5p 40 hrs/week

Weekend Requirements: as needed

OnCall Requirements: n/a

  • This position is a hybrid working position you must be living in the DFW or surrounding area. Access to highspeed internet and a secure working environment is required. All equipment will be provided

** 20 hrs/week will be assigned the 1st week to accomplish required training (selfpaced and hours/days can vary)

Primary Purpose

The Quality HEDIS Retriever / Analyst supports the HEDIS team by conducting Medical Records chart chasing and data entry of medical records for HEDIS projects HEDISlike projects and supplemental data collection. The Quality HEDIS Retriever / Analyst will meet chart retrieving productivity standards as well as a minimum over reading standards and 100% compliance on cleared pends.

Responsibilities:

1. The Quality HEDIS Retriever / Analyst will function as support of the HEDIS Team during the traditional HEDIS season and/or during offseason projects

2. Perform at minimum retrieval/chasing of assigned measures and training as part of their responsibilities

3. Works in conjunction with the Clinical Quality Program Manager to complete training and subsequent retrieval by measuring specific team assignment

4. Will escalate matters to the Clinical Quality Program Manager as appropriate

5. Collaborates with other HEDIS Abstractors & Retrievers and will always demonstrate PCHP core values

6. Will adhere to compliance with the hybrid and remote policy HIPAA regulations professional conduct and ethical practice

7. Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned

8. Must be able to perform duties with reasonable accommodation

9. Must be able to communicate effectively with medical offices

Submission Requirements
  • 2 years of medical record review/retrieval experience
  • experience auditing files to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • strong experience and comfort using multiple software programs; Microsoft programs (SharePoint teams outlook excel etc...)
  • HEDIS/NCQA knowledge
  • experience working with HEDIS data entry software/reporting tools and/or entry in HEDIS engines
