Client Name: Med Solution Client Update within 2448 hours
Job Opportunity:RN :ICU in Redding CA for $76/hr
- Position: RN: ICU
- Location: Redding CA 96001
- Pay Rate: $75$76 per hour
- Gross Weekly: $2984.38/week
- Shift: Nights: 3*12s
- Work Week: 36 hours per week
- Shift Notes: Nights(12 hour shifts 3 shifts/week)
- Duration: 13 weeks (high Possibility of contract extension)
- Charting System: Cerner
- Shift Notes: Nights EOW First to Float
Job Description
Unit Notes:
- **Telemetry L/D Emergency and Critical Care RNs will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test!
- **MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics**
- **HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED**
- Unit: ICU
- # beds: 30 beds
- Ratios: 1 to 12 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratio
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: yes they do not take pt assignment
- Nurse Aides: No
- Weekend Requirement: every other
- Holidays: no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work
- Scrub Color: navy
- Tele: GE
- Vents: yes hamilton
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hosp 24/7
- IV Team: no
- RT 24/7: yes
- Floating: any of the tele or medsurg units
- Floor specific orientation: 1 day on unit
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma travelers must have this experience neurostrokes head injurires ventriculostomies ICP monitoring candidates MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if they do not have this experience then they MUST have experience with postTPA pts
- Additional Notes: candidates must have 23 yrs in specialty previous travel experience preferred must know ahead of time they will work very hard on this unit must be open to asking questions or asking for help if needed unit is fastpaced must be able to get along well with others hospital has a very robust interventional radiology program traveler friendly
- ****Absolutely NO candidates who have 2 years or less experience and minimal travel experience UNLESS they have excellent past experiences at larger fastpaced facilities
Requirements: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Current CA state licensure
- BLS ACLS(Must be through American Heart Associatio)
- PALS Preferred
- NIHSS
- MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics OR MUST have experience with postTPA pts
- 2 year of acute care Cerner Experience
- Covid Card.
- NO BSN Required.
- Updated Resume
- SSN & DL
- Team player with positive attitude
- Strong patient advocate
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift Nights
