Global Markets Technology division of Bank of America Merrill currently seeking an IT Business Analyst for Derivatives Trade and Transactions regulatory reporting technology. This position will focus on supporting NonFinancial Regulatory Reporting for various regulatory programs such as the CFTC EMIR SEC CSA MiFID etc.

Technofunctional business analyst experience working on regulatory projects responsible to ensure the needs of business partners project and program stakeholders are met as well as coordinate with crossfunctional teams (Change Operation Legal Compliance IT and QA) throughout the lifecycles of the project and ensure all regulatory and books and records requirements are met and submitted in timely and accurately across jurisdiction to respective authorized GTR (Global Trade Repository) and regulators.

• Liaise with business partners project and program stakeholders to analyze & refine the regulatory requirements given by Federal authorities & DTCC and then prepare detailed BRD (Business Requirement Document) FRD (Functional Requirement) for various technology teams (FO/MO SOR IT Reference Data IT etc..).
• Translate and simplify the Business /Functional requirements into technical requirements and create user stories for the Development team to understand and implement the code.
• Performs gap and feasibility analysis recommend alternative solutions project strategy and deliverable prioritization.
• Prepare the detailed use cases functional scenarios and Spec by examples.
• Work closely with Developers and Operations to answer all questions & queries about the regulatory requirements.
• Identify the gaps in software system from regulatory perspective and raise requirements to product owners.
• Provide support to product owner team to help guide the tech impact story points prioritizing planning for all requirements.
• Work closely with SIT / QA team to help support BDD and functional testing as when required review feature files with developers written as part of Dev acceptance testing covering functional acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Provide support to UAT team for endtoend testing by providing sample test cases use cases actual vs expected behavior etc. Work with them to develop user acceptance tests and log and track status of defects.

• Technofunctional BA experience working on regulatory projects preferably in Transaction Reporting space e.g. CFTC/Dodd Frank/SEC/CSA ESMA/EMIR MIFID
• Strong understanding and working knowledge in Financial Derivative Products covering both ETD and OTC derivative is a must
• Experience with Python / OOP programming language is highly desirable to perform day to day data analysis work at code level
• Prior work experience in big banks in Transaction Reporting space is a plus
• At least 7 10 years of experience of working as a BA for large complex systems.
• Experience working in agile methodology is required.
• Experience working on JIRA tools for requirement gathering and tech analysis details. Able to create feature files for Dev to build.
• Great analytical skills and ability to deep dive into complex details and resolve issues.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Experience of working with AGILE methodology of software development.
• Ability to prioritize adjust and push for completion of multiple tasks in a fastpaced organization.
• Ability to problem solve apply reason take initiative use judgment and perform multiple concurrent tasks
• Bachelors or masters degree in Finance and/or Computer Science is preferred.
