Summary:
- The main function of an Attorney is to research legal precedent investigating facts or preparing legal documents. A typical Attorney is responsible for conducting research to support a legal proceeding formulate a defense or to initiate legal action.
- Review of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings. Require a Law Degree from a credible university and admission to the bar. 1 plus year of immigration experience preferably in employmentbased immigration but will also accept familybased immigration experience. Normal rhythm of business with petition review. Coming into a busy time of the year based on volume increase.
- Motivators for this need: This role has been opened due to net new position and finding someone with the right skillset is the most important.
- If the candidate has prior experience with Microsoft (18 Months) they need to have atleast 7 months of access break.
Typical Day in the Role
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to work on employmentbased immigration.
- Key projects: This role will contribute to supporting high volume U.S. business immigration operations including petition review I9 email response support and ensuring legal compliance with daily filings.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of
- Use U.S. immigration legal knowledge to ensure daily workflow targets are completed and maintain integrity of the onsite case preparation program.
- Train admins on USCIS filings USCIS document processing and PERM job postings assist with daily admin questions and review work product to ensure legal accuracy and quality.
- Assist with root cause analysis and resolution for legal and operational issues.
- Identify and propose legal process improvement ideas to increase legal quality improve employee experience streamline workflow and build operational resiliency.
- Complete remote and onsite legal review of filings.
- Address legal questions that arise related to I9 completion and EVerify.
- Support complex EVerify issue resolution.
- Train and monitor admins who support I9 reverification.
- Assist managers with understanding PERM requirements and obligations during applicant review
- Respond to emails from visa dependent employees on topics including visa and green card eligibility travel and maintenance of status.

Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required 1 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required Juris Doctor (JD) a Law Degree from a credible university and admission to the bar degree is required to be eligible for this role.
