Position: Lead II Business Analysis
Location: Chesterfield MO 63017
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
- Develops validates documents and maintains business and functional requirements and conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
- Partner with business users to identify and implement process automation opportunities that leverage self service capabilities such as Alteryx Tableau etc. that result in increased quality and service.
- Serves as the main point of contact for business users facilitating meetings presenting findings and ensuring effective communication between business and IT teams.
- Assists in the development and execution of test plans works with QA teams to ensure system changes meet business needs and are function correctly.
- Supports the project management team by providing business analysis expertise during the development testing and implementation phases of IT projects.
- Works with project teams to support requirements gathering.
- Analyzes data in support of improving data quality.
- works with the business to identify data issues and identify potential solutions. o proactively works to identify ways to improve data quality through business rules automation.
- Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
- May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
- Responds to questions from business and IT teams.
- Evaluates and tracks new or enhanced solutions to determine potential issues and communicates how problems may affect business and recommends solutions.
- Participates in change management activities Q&A testing troubleshooting and investigation.
- Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
Requirements Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- LOMA Certification would be an asset.
- Experience with selfservice data tools/Programming language: Power BI Alteryx Tableau ETL SQL etc. would be highly desired.
Experience Skills & Abilities
- 57 years ITrelated experience such as Business Analysis Data Analysis etc.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
- Advanced data analysis skills.
- Advanced investigative analytical and problemsolving skills
- Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks clients and projects simultaneousl
- Ability to appropriately balance priorities deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and participate in department/team projects.
- Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives.
- Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions.
- Advanced negotiating and persuasion skills
- Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational functional and technical disciplines.
- General business knowledge
- 2 years Life Insurance industry knowledge would be an asset.
