Position: Body Weld Technician
Location: San Antonio TX
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Travel: 75 % travel.
Overtime: 50%
Job Description
Role Description:
- The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect and confirm new modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production.
- Confirm that new model equipment meets standards and performs as intended.
- Prepare and confirm new Bodyweld equipment at the Vendors.
- Robot teaching PLC troubleshooting and equipment inspection/confirmation
- Support Body Engineering for Body weld model change activities
- Primary project focus at TMMTX with possible support of other plant location.
- Confirming that new or modified equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) Highlight Top 35 skills
Requirements:
- High School graduate/ diploma
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling
- Experience in industrial maintenance robot programming PLC logic modification and troubleshooting
- Industrial maintenance experience in a body weld shop
- Experience with AGVs (automated guided vehicles)

- Reporting to the Seibi Manager the person in this role will support the Body weld Production Engineering departments objective to provide high quality low cost and reliable plant Equipment and control systems
