DS Technologies Inc is looking for Accessibility Tester role for one of our premier clients.
Job Title: Accessibility Tester
Location: Hybrid Austin TX; San Jose CA; New York
Industry: Technology/Design
Job Category: Accessibility Testing
The Accessibility Tester will work with Googles Design Platform team ensuring the highest quality of accessibility for crossplatform offerings including Material Design components libraries and digital asset catalogs. The role requires indepth knowledge of accessibility standards and assistive technologies.
Position:- Conduct Accessibility Testing using Google Accessibility Requirements (GAR)
- Collaborate with Google teams to support accessibility for partner teams
- Document findings clearly and troubleshoot accessibility issues
- Perform accessibility testing independently using GAR
- Triage issues to determine the source (product assistive tech or browser)
- Document test results and accessibility issues
- Collaborate with the Google Design Platform Accessibility team

Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of WCAG Section 508
- Proficiency with screen readers: JAWS NVDA VoiceOver ChromeVox Talkback
- Advanced knowledge of Android and iOS accessibility tools
- Ability to use tools like Axe and Chrome Lighthouse
- Expertise in identifying complex accessibility issues

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Google Accessibility Requirements (GAR)
- DHS Trusted Tester Certification
- Knowledge of ARIA HTML and JavaScript is a plus
- Hybrid position in Austin TX San Jose CA or New York
- Strong communication skills
- Expertise in accessibility testing and assistive technologies.
