Job Description
Duties:
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular neurointerventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
- Strong knowledge of Floor and ceilingmounted fluoroscopic modality machines
- The ability to identify retrieve and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
- The ability to critically think during neurointerventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Strong communication skills using closedloop communication
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload
- Positively contribute to a multidisciplinary team of with nurses radiologists and vascular surgeons
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs system
- Groin management postintervention
- Demonstrate the ability to provide highquality care in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate xray fluoroscopic modalities
Skills:
- 35 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a CardioVascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Associate degree. OR
- Completion of accredited radiographic program.
Schedule Notes:
- 5days a week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday oncall requirements
- Covid Vaccination Required along with the boosters

Certification/License:
- Radiography Certification with ARRT
- NJ state License
- AHA BLS
- Covid Card Required
