Job Description

POSTED ONLY FOR A CURRENT TRAVELER WHO IS CHANGING DEPARTMENTS WITH US; DO NOT SUBMIT OTHER CANDIDATES RN will primarily work on the Clinical Decision Unit (formerly known as Observation) but will also be required to float to other MedSurg units (Respiratory Stroke Cardiac etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable. 36 hours/week day shift (7a 7:30p) with every other weekend required. Taking call would be a very rare occurrence. Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them are NOT options) so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information. Active BLS and ACLS are both required. Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required (must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be immediately terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient).
