SQL DBA

Responsibilities:
- Plan execute and manage data migration projects from Oracle to SQL Server with a focus on Azure SQL.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Design implement and maintain SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.
- Monitor database health and performance manage backups and recovery procedures and ensure database availability.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience working as a SQL Database Administrator with a focus on Azure SQL.
- Strong experience with data migration projects specifically from Oracle to SQL Server.
- Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and SQL Server architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting query optimization and database troubleshooting.
- Experience with tools and technologies such as Azure Data Factory SSIS and other ETL tools is a plus.
