Roles and responsibilities
To support the leasing head in mall business planning i.e. business forecasting, budgeting, Macro & Micro studies of new leasing, lease & delivery planning with a quality focus approach, optimum property space utilization, mall positioning, mall planning, trade analysis, leasing strategies, leasing mall spaces to different retailers, exploring new retailers for the respective categories, area projection, initiating and closing deals direct and through dealers, creating right brand mix, process of agreements finalization , post operation support coordination with different department monitoring of payment collections.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Leasing in the achievement of the department’s annual business plan, KPIs, budget, policies, and procedures.
- Source, connect and manage the relationship with retail groups and individual tenants (existing and new) to continuously explore business opportunities.
- Conduct end-to-end retail leasing activities for designated accounts, follow-up on renewals and ensure they meet the price guidelines agreed on as per company pricing structure.
- Conduct site visits with tenants and relay feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Issue leasing proposals to the new tenants
- Negotiate prices within range agreed as per the pricing strategy and unit rates.
- Sign leases and contracts and coordinate with Leasing Administration function for documentation and filing.
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance for contracts and payments/ revenue booking
- Coordinate with Legal for changes in terms & conditions when allowed by policy.
- Coordinate with Operations department for handover upon signing of lease.
- Re-negotiate renewals in case of major changes in pricing and lease conditions.
- Ensure Customer Relationship Management is attained as per Leasing needs.
- Develop client database and update the system.
- Maintain database of requests/ preferences/ requirements for each designated accounts across Qatar and input into system.
Desired candidate profile
- Extensive knowledge in Mall Design, Store Design - Plan, drawings & documentation - Understanding the customers and retail trends - Tenant Mix & buying behavior.
- Large and diverse network of clients.
- At least three years of relevant experience.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, or equivalent is required.
