Job Description
Job Title: Charlie Service Center Clerk
Location: Boston MA 02108
Duration: 8 months (Possible extension)
Position Summary:
The Charlie Service Center Clerk is responsible for producing Charlie Cards for both the general public and reducedfare customers at the Charlie Cards Store. This role requires handling customer interactions data management and other support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive training including Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System and Ticket Office Machine (TOM) training to facilitate Charlie Card production for all customer categories.
- Create and issue Charlie Cards using the AFC System and TOM for general and reducedfare customers.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints via email and phone.
- Perform data entry into the webbased mailing system and manage information within various spreadsheets.
- Process and mail reducedfare Charlie Cards to customers ensuring accurate recordkeeping in the TAP (Transportation Access Pass) database.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed to provide exceptional customer service.
