Job Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for civil excavation projects in a timely manner.
- Prepare comprehensive tenders for infrastructure construction and upgrade projects.
- Read interpret and understand plans to generate precise Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with each project.
- Liaise with the site team and Project Manager to ensure a clear understanding of the Scope of Work (SOW).
- Work closely with project managers engineers and clients to ensure accurate project delivery.
- Maintain an uptodate understanding of industry trends cost factors and relevant legislation.
- Work effectively in a team environment while managing your own workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
- 5 years of experience in civil estimating for earthworks or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in civil estimating for earthworks (within Australia)
- Engineering degree or Tertiary qualification required
- Proficiency in estimating software (Mudshark Estimate One Cubit Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends pricing and industry standards to provide accurate estimates.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the civil industry.
- Setup and Location: Onsite (Pampanga Alabang Cebu Ortigas) WFH/Remote Onsite
- Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (AEDT) 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (PH Time)
