Position: Technical Liaison Field Test Fleets (Service Engineer)
Location: 100% Onsite 6880 S International Dr Columbus IN USA 47201
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr. on W2
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Monday Friday
Overview:
This role serves as the liaison between field test vehicle fleets and engineering teams ensuring fleet operations run smoothly by project managing issues that arise.
Must have skills:
Project management experience
Conflict resolution experience
Decision making skills
Ability to prioritize
Technical background is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between field service engineering and quality teams.
- Manage product problems conduct failure analyses and facilitate the implementation of solutions for Midrange engines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering Warranty Applications Engineering) to define prioritize and resolve product issues.
- Provide service input during product development stages including design reviews.
- Support technical documentation and dealer escalation processes.
Required Skills:
- Project management and conflict resolution experience.
- Strong decisionmaking and prioritization abilities.
- Technical background (understanding of internal combustion engines and systems preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve complex problems systematically.
- Proficiency in MS Word Excel and data analysis/statistical tools.
- Experience with Six Sigma (Green Belt is a plus).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field).
- 24 years of relevant experience.
