Roles and responsibilities

Naqshah Interiors is seeking a dedicated and skilled Interior Design Draftsman for a full-time on-site position in Riyadh. This role is integral to our design team, where the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a range of technical drawings, including engineering and architectural plans. As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional design solutions, the Draftsman will utilize advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to translate creative concepts into precise, workable drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

The Interior Design Draftsman will collaborate closely with designers and architects to understand project requirements and design intent. Key responsibilities will include:

1. Creating Technical Drawings: Develop detailed and accurate technical drawings that align with project specifications and standards. This includes a range of documents such as floor plans, elevations, and sections.

2. Utilizing CAD Software: Employ CAD software effectively to produce high-quality design documentation. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD or similar tools is essential for this role.

3. Interpreting Design Plans: Analyze and interpret design plans to ensure accuracy in execution. This requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and design aesthetics.

4. Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all drawings. The ability to spot and correct potential discrepancies is crucial to the success of our projects.

5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, including interior designers and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution. Excellent communication skills are vital to facilitate clear exchanges of ideas and feedback.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should possess a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A solid foundation in technical drawing, engineering drawings, and architectural drawings is required, along with demonstrated proficiency in CAD software. Experience in the interior design industry is highly advantageous.
