Roles and responsibilities

The Robot Repair and Maintenance Technician position combines technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer service orientation. This role is essential in ensuring the functionality and reliability of robotic systems, which are increasingly critical in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Robot Repair and Maintenance:

  • Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming robots for any damage or malfunctions. This initial assessment is crucial for understanding the scope of repairs needed.
  • Diagnosis: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical issues. This involves analyzing faults and identifying the root causes of malfunctions.
  • Repair Work: Execute repairs, replacements, and assemblies of components as necessary. This hands-on work requires precision and a thorough understanding of robotic systems.
  • Testing: Conduct tests on repaired robots to ensure they meet quality and functionality standards. This step is vital for customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Inventory Management:

  • System Updates: Maintain an accurate inventory system by updating records for received, repaired, and shipped robots. Keeping track of inventory is essential for operational efficiency.
  • Stock Management: Oversee the stock of spare parts and components, ensuring that the necessary items are available for repairs and minimizing downtime.

Reporting:
