Roles and responsibilities
We are excited to announce the expansion of our business, which includes a significant investment in our assets to enhance our delivery capabilities. As part of this growth, we are setting ambitious targets to double our workforce within the next 12 months. We are currently seeking a Division Manager for our Small Boats Division, who will play a crucial role in overseeing a team of six skilled professionals, including mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and administrative staff. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient task completion within the Small Boats Division.
- Process Improvement: Review and enhance workshop procedures, manage staffing requirements, and provide training to team members.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers, oversee tool maintenance, and ensure quality control of all repairs.
- Workflow Management: Monitor workflow, evaluate delays, and manage work orders to optimize productivity.
- Inspections and Estimates: Conduct inspections, provide accurate estimates, and order spare parts as necessary.
- Workload Planning: Plan workloads, schedule leave to avoid disruptions, and prepare progress reports for the CEO.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety compliance across all operations and handle additional tasks as assigned by the CEO to support overall departmental success.
Desired candidate profile
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in the repair of boats and/or marine vessels.
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills are essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not required.
